Wallpaper Removal

Home

Removing wallpaper is a delicate task that takes skill, precision, and patience. We’re proud to combine all those traits as well as years of experience, ensuring we deliver best-in-class results on every job we undertake. Whether you need us to remove wallpaper from a corner or throughout your whole house, we promise to do it quickly, correctly, and at a fair price. Put your trust in us, and we’ll have your walls looking spick-and-span in no time.

We use the latest techniques, tools, and equipment to deliver picture-perfect results on every job.

We start by taking any necessary precautionary measures. Cutting power to the room, removing furniture, and covering up outlets are just a few of the things we might do, along with taping off any areas of the wall you don’t want to be exposed.

We will then dissolve any adhesive so that we can remove the wallpaper quickly and without risk to the underlying surface. Using our specialized cleaning solution, we’ll moisten the wallpaper, allowing us to peel it off more easily by loosening its grip to the wall. Depending on the age of the wallpaper and how it was applied, we may be able to strip it with just a few pulls and pinches, or we may need to use a bit more elbow grease. Either way, we’ll have it off your walls in record time.

We know that our services are second to none. We know we do a good job because we take pride in our work and because we stand behind every project we perform.

That’s why our services always come with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. We know our services can meet your needs, and we’re willing to stake our reputation on it. If our services don’t live up to your expectations, then reach out to us, tell us the problem, and we’ll do everything we can to fix the issue. We know that won’t be necessary because we always double-check our work and make sure the customer is happy with it. But we think it’s only fair to give you that extra piece of assurance anyway.

FAQs

Mamiya Painting & Services Pty Ltd is proud to be a Taubmans Accredited Painter, which means that we are able to provide our customers with a 5 Year Workmanship Warranty on every residential painting project we complete.

This question we get asked all the time, especially at a family BBQ ha-ha. The answer is challenging to answer because we don’t know what you want painted, if there is any damage done to the property, what paint and brand you require and also, most important is how big the home is. What we always require is to book in your free quote.

Knowing that your current paint supplier will say you can cover 16 square meters per 1 litre of paint. As professional painters we know this is a very thin layer of paint. We recommend that per litre will cover 10 to 12 square meters. Again, this is always different depending on how old the surface is, what type of surface are you painting and in what weather condition are you painting in. Therefore, it’s important to book in your free quote to know what is needed.

Yes, there is a product by Dulux called “Chalkboard design” we can transform your entire wall into a chalkboard. This will give the ability to write and wipe at your desire.

This is a great question to ask, most who ask us these questions are clients who are doing renovations to their home. They are trying to book in other trades and working out a timing for each stage. What we encourage is to book in for your free quote to work out what you require and how long this will take.

This is probably the question we get daily. The best way to answer this is, yes, we can. Although, even if we use the same colour paint (paint matching) you will still be able to see new paint on old paint. If you want to job done correctly you will need to paint the whole wall to look even.

This is a question we cover during quoting your project. If you wish for us to cover and move furniture around this could add into the cost of your project.

When quoting a job, most customers ask us. What should I use on my wooden surfaces? We will tell you what we tell them. Wood is adaptable to receive both water and oil-based paint. In a paint store you might hear the term acrylic or enamel, same thing. Water being acrylic and oil being enamel.

Whatever you do chose to use we will also ensure you use the right primer first, this depends on the wood you want to paint. Enamel will always give you that old school high gloss look where is acrylic will give you less odour and low VOC content.

Remember that not all painters do the same and right job! But this always depends on a few factors. Is the painter a contractor? Do they have up to date insurance? What product are they claiming to use but are using?

Yes of course you can paint it yourself and it’s great fun when you do it with a partner, just like cooking. But you can get it wrong very quickly and it can cost you more in the long run.

Remember, painting is not just about applying paint to a particular surface. It takes a lot of patience in sanding, scraping, priming, gapping, and filling before you even get to the paint.
